What is water purification?
Water purification is a series of steps that transform raw water (river, groundwater) into clear, odorless water that is safe for our health. This process eliminates bacteria, viruses, and pollutants that can cause serious diseases.
Why is it urgent in Leyte?
Following devastating typhoons, water sources are contaminated by debris and flooding. Untreated water becomes a major vector for diseases (cholera, typhoid, dysentery), worsening the humanitarian crisis and directly threatening the survival of affected populations.
How does Solife intervene?
Solife rapidly deploys 2 mobile and robust Sunwater Life stations capable of treating various contaminated water sources. These innovative solutions provide safe drinking water to disaster-affected populations, preventing the spread of diseases and ensuring the survival of affected communities.
