The Solidarity French Emergency association, mindful of individual rights, particularly with regard to automated processing, and in a spirit of transparency with its members, donors and users, has established a policy covering all these processing activities, their purposes, and the means available to individuals so they can best exercise their rights.

Article 1 - Collection of Personal Data
The personal data collected on this site is as follows:
- Contact form: Last name, first name, email address, phone number (if requested), subject and message content.
- Membership / Member Area: Last name, first name, postal address, email address, phone number, date of birth (if relevant), payment information (managed by Stripe), membership history.
- Online donations: Last name, first name, postal address (for tax receipt), email address, donation amount, payment information (managed by Stripe).
- Newsletter subscription: Email address.
- Authentication: Email address, hashed password.
- Website navigation (via cookies or trackers): Connection data, usage data, location (if relevant), device-related data (truncated IP address, browser type...).
Article 2 - Purposes of Personal Data Use
The collection and processing of this data serves the following purposes:
- Management of requests via the contact form.
- Management of memberships and member area (access, communication, renewal...).
- Processing of online donations and issuance of tax receipts.
- Sending newsletters and communications related to the association's activities (subject to consent).
- Authentication management and user account security.
- Website and user experience improvement (anonymized statistical analyses).
- Website security.
- Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
Article 3 - Legal Basis for Data Processing
The legal basis for the processing carried out is:
- For contact management: The association's legitimate interest in responding to requests addressed to it or consent if explicitly requested.
- For membership management: Execution of the membership contract binding the member to the association.
- For donation processing: Transaction execution and legal obligation relating to tax receipt issuance.
- For authentication management: Contract execution (member area access) and legitimate interest in securing access.
- For newsletter sending: User consent.
- For navigation analysis: User consent (via cookie banner) or legitimate interest for strictly necessary functional trackers.
Article 4 - Data Recipients
The collected data is intended for the internal services of Solidarity French Emergency and its potential subcontractors in strict compliance with the stated purposes:
- Secure payment provider: Stripe (for memberships and donations).
- Website hosting providers: OVH and Vercel.
- Transactional email service: Resend.
- Audience analysis tool: Google Analytics.
Your data is not sold to third parties. It may be communicated to public authorities upon official request.
Article 5 - Data Retention Period
Personal data is retained by Solidarity French Emergency for a period not exceeding that necessary for the purposes for which it is collected and processed:
- Contact data: Duration necessary for request processing, then archiving according to legal requirements (max 3 years after last contact).
- Member data: Membership duration + legal retention period (e.g., 5 years after end of membership for accounting documents).
- Donor data: Duration necessary for transaction and receipt issuance + legal retention period (e.g., 6 years for tax documents).
- Newsletter data: Until consent withdrawal (unsubscribe link).
- Navigation data (cookies): Maximum 13 months.
Article 6 - Data Security
Solidarity French Emergency implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk.
In the event of a personal data breach likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of data subjects, Solidarity French Emergency undertakes to notify CNIL and affected individuals as soon as possible.Article 7 - User Rights

- Right of access: obtain confirmation that data concerning them is being processed and obtain a copy.
- Right of rectification: obtain correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

- Right to restriction of processing: request suspension of processing in cases provided by law.
- Right to data portability: receive provided data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and transmit it to another data controller.
- Right to object: object to processing of their data for legitimate reasons, or at any time for commercial prospecting.
- Right to withdraw consent at any time for processing based on it.
- Right to define directives regarding the fate of their data after death.

The solife.fr website may use "cookies" to process statistics and traffic information, facilitate navigation and improve service for user comfort.
